Baby A's Blanket...

I've been on my own this weekend, so I decided it was a good time to make a baby quilt for Baby A. She will be joining the family in 3 months! I'm so excited to hold this sweet girl, and just love her! I went to the fabric store with a completely different color pallet in mind, but when I saw this Moda fabric I couldn't pass it up. It was a package set of fat quarters which made cutting the fabric way easy. I quilted it in the ditch using a wavy stitch to avoid seeing my mess-ups.

Valentine's Day Outfit...

I decided to make Daylynn a V-Day shirt. My friend sent me a link for a tutu shirt at Joys Hope, and I had seen the heart somewhere else (I seriously need to write down where I find things). I decided to combine the two, and came up with this fun shirt. I'm biased of course, but I think my baby looked pretty darn cute in it!

Valentine's Day Gift...

Thanks for all the fun ideas. I ended up going with a great idea I saw on Make and Takes Website. They had a guest blogger from Simply Modern Mom about a great date night idea. It is called Project 52, and is 1 date a week for a year. Since finding time to date has been hard since having Daylynn, I thought this would be the perfect way to start dating again! I tried really hard to come up with mostly at home dates, with a babysitter required date once a month or so. Below is a sample of the ideas. For a full list leave a comment with your e-mail (if I don't have it), and I'll gladly send it your way.

Onesie Dress...

I found this adorable onesie dress tutorial at Barefoot In The Kitchen. I really like the way her's turned out, and was pretty happy with my first attempt. My skirt ended up a little shorter than I hoped, so I had to lower it. I really like how her's has more of an empire waist. I'll definitely be making another one...it was pretty easy!

Valentines Day Help!

I saw on someone's blog (sorry I can't remember where...prego brain) where the husband and wife made Valentine's Day gifts instead of buy them. I thought it would be a fun idea, especially after just finishing 2 birthdays, Christmas and an anniversary...there just isn't a whole lot of money left over. So I'm coming to my crafty friends to help me with ideas. I originally thought we'd be doing something cheesy, but after talking to my husband last night it sounds like he is making something legit and nice. Any and all ideas are welcome!
