This is the tote bag I made for my neice. I lined it with a cute polka dot material, and added an "L" on the outside for her name. Hopefully she likes it!
Today I finished two crayon rolls. I used the tutorial from Skip to My Lou. I didn't use any interfacing, because the light pink fabric was thicker (home decor fabric). I also used elastic and a button to close it off instead of ribbon. I should make a note...when I say "I" I really mean "We." My friend Lyric is really the inspiration behind these, and gave me those ideas! It hold 16 crayons.
Wow...it's almost been a whole month since I've done any projects. It makes me sad, but pregnancy has taken over my life. Or it's just been an excuse to be lazy. I almost put my sewing machine away today. But after spending the morning with a friend, I think I'm motivated again to get some projects done!
On my List is the following:
1. A mini tote bag for my niece. 2. 2 crayon rolls 3. colored bean bags to teach/practice colors
I'd like to add more, but I should probably be realistic. These three might take me a month or more to complete the rate I've been going. If I know you will be coming back soon, it will motivate me to get some things done. Until next time...
